Céline Ricci, Soprano was selected as one of opera’s promising new talents by Opernwelt, Céline makes a specialty of Baroque repertoire and has worked with several prestigious ensembles with critical acclaim including Les Arts Florissants, Ars Lyrica Baroque Orchestra, Handel’s Teseo at the Göttingen-Handel Festival, Handel’s Athalia with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at the Berlin Staatsoper and many more. Collaborating conductors include Nicolas McGegan, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Martin Haselbock, Martin Gester, et al. She has been seen on stages and in concerts halls throughout the world including Berlin, London, Brussels, Israel, Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam, Moscow, and St. Petersburg. Recordings include: Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with William Christie and Les Arts Florissants on DVD, Cirque (French mélodies), Les Plaisirs du Versailles by Marc-Antoine Charpentier on DVD, Le Bestiaire (French mélodies), and others. In addition to her international singing career Céline is also the Founder and Artistic Director of Ars Minerva.
